For this you need:
sugar, blackberries and whiskey.
An ordinary blend will do. I like to keep my single malts neat.
And you need a suitable jar to shake the stuff up in
Add the sugar to the whiskey
and shake like hell.
Add the blackberries and shake a bit more
It looks a bit murky right now and Zac is unimpressed
- all the more for me at Christmas time.

Yum - I think that's a much better decision for a small-ish berry yield than a couple of jars of jelly...but that's just one person's opinion...
hmmm....What can't you use blackberries for! I love em' :)
sian thanks. keep of the bottle and stick to the berrys, the hard stuff. huk
Mmmm...that sounds really good. I've been reading Robin's blog and Dizzy's diary but I've never read yours for some reason. Even though I see you commenting on theirs and it's obvious that you and Dizzy are very good friends. I love your blog so far. This is a new one right? You had a different one before?? Come visit me sometime if you'd like. Have a great day :-)
