Three girls went hunting...

up the slope

across the bracken patch

through the trees

over the rill

to find blackberries.

Not many, it must be said, but enough to make a pot or two of jelly. A special taste of autumn to carry us through the winter.

Thank you for sharing your new "home" with us, Sian. Though I also greatly enjoyed your other. I don't personally think that just because a blog starts out as ONE thing, it cannot adapt with it's writer, grow into new and strange territories, as the author moves along. But, as you will. I'm glad you're not quitting us altogether.

How lovely. If this new blog is filled with more stories of your girls then I will be a happy bunny indeed. Her hair is so short! But I think she looks very cute. Reminds me of when I was about 5/6 and I have my hair cut super super short...but that's another story for another day!
I miss you!
